    CDS exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility Criteria for I.M.A :-

    Age should be between 19 years and 24 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
    Graduation in any desire subject from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
    Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria for India Navy :-

    The candidate age should be between 19 years and 22 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
    Graduation in engineering from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
    Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria for Air force :-

    The candidates should have a 19 years to 23 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
    Graduate or Engineering degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification with Physics and Mathematics in 12th level.
    Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria for O.T.A:-

    The age should be between 19 years and 25 years and only unmarried male or only unmarried females� candidates are eligible.
    The candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
    Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

    the central defense exam is conducted by the unoin public service commission.
    under central defense service exam the following exam are conducted

    ima = indian military academy

    ota = officer training academy

    na = naval academy


    mode of application

    candidate can apply online or offline for the cds



    last date for applications

    date of notification 02-06-2012
    last date for application 02-07-2012
    exam date 16-09-2012


    candidate can download the notification from the website of the upsc or can also check the notification from the employment news paper.

    C.D.S. stands for Combined Defense Service examination.
    This examination is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year known as C.D.S.(I) & C.D.S.(II).

    Eligibility Criteria:-
    In C.D.S. you can apply for Indian military academy, Air force academy, Naval academy & Officer's training academy.

    INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY:-
    Candidates must have completed a degree from a recognized university.
    NAVAL ACADEMY:-
    Candidates must completed B.Sc. degree with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects from a a recognized university.
    Candidates who have done Engineering course are also eligible to apply.
    AIR FORCE ACADEMY:-
    Candidates must be a degree holder.
    Candidates should have also passed 10+2 level with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
    OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY:-
    Candidate must be a graduate degree holder.

    Marital Status:-
    INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY, NAVAL ACADEMY, AIR FORCE ACADEMY:- unmarried male candidates
    OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY:- both male & female candidates

    Age Criteria:-
    For INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY:- 19-24 years
    FOR NAVAL ACADEMY:- 19-22 years
    FOR AIR FORCE ACADEMY:- 19-23 years
    FOR OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY:- 19-25 years

    How to Apply??

    Candidates can apply online only.
    They can apply in online by the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in
    Details instruction for filling up the form is given in that website.
    Candidates have to fill up the two stages of registration i.e. part(I) & part(II).
    The candidates have to pay the fee of Rs.100/- by these methods
    -using net banking of SBI
    -using visa/master card/debit card
    -remitting money in any branch of SBI
    Candidates should avoid for multiple applying of form.

    upsc conducts cds exam.to apply for cds one must be graduate from a recognized university.visit www.upsc.gov.in for notification .you can apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in

    Combined Defense Service Examination(C.D.S.E.) is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year known as C.D.S. (I) & C.D.S. (II).
    Normally A graduate degree holder can apply for this examination.
    This exam is conducted to recruit candidates of citizen of India in Indian military academy, Naval academy, Air force academy & Officers training academy.


    ELIGIBILITY:-
    For INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY:-
    * Candidates must have completed a degree from a recognized university or equivalent course.
    * Candidate must be a graduate degree holder.
    * Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam.
    * Candidates must not born before 2ND January 1989 and not after 1ST January 1994.
    * Candidate must be Indian Citizen.
    FOR NAVAL ACADEMY:-
    * Only Unmarried male candidates can eligible to apply for this exam.
    * Candidates must not born before 2ND January 1989 and not after 1ST January 1994.

    CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE. CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year as CDS(I) & CDS(II).

    For AFA:- You should pass in your graduate Degree from recognized university or Bachelor of Engineering with Physics and Mathematics at 12Th examination, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for CDS Examination. Your Age should be in between 19 to 23 years. You should be Male, unmarried & citizen of India.

    For OTA:- You must complete Your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognized University. Final year candidates of such program are also eligible to appear in this exam. Your Age should be in between 19 to 24 years. You should be Female & citizen of India.

    upsc conducts CDS exam twice a year .before knowing how to apply for i would like you to know about the eligibility criteria for CDS examination .please go through the data below:


    Eligibility criteria for CDS:

    1.graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
    2.final year students can also eligible to apply for this exam.
    3.age limit 21 to 25 years.
    4.OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.


    Also,
    1. For IMA(Indian Military Academy) And OTA(Officer's Training Academy) student should have passed Graduation from a recognized university . And for the Indian Air Force Exam the candidate should be pass in Graduation( B.SC With Physics or Maths )
    2.for IMA age should be between 19-24 years
    3.for OTA age should be between 19-25 years
    4.for IAF age should be between 19-22 years for IAF

    with the advent of computer technology upsc now has started taking online applications along with offline or postal applications. Upsc application can be made online or offline both ways

    For offline applications for CDS you will have to visit head post office to buy the upsc form . then you can easily fill the form and send to the appropriate address.

    For online applications for CDS you will have to log on to www.onlineupsc.nic.in where you can fill the form following the given there .the online form filling consist of two parts namely registration part I and registration part II. After filling the you can easily make submit.

    Hi Aspirant

    CDS: Stands for the Combine Defence Service Exam

    And the exam is conducting by the Union Public Service Commission(upsc)

    Twice in a year and the exam is tough

    Their is a written test of objective type and then their

    Will be a ssb of seven days and that's the most and main task

    And most of the students failed in the task

    So you need to work very much hard for it

    You can apply for the exam in two ways

    The Number of Ways You can apply for CDS Exam:

    1. Online
    2. Offline


    The Online Method:

    Go to the official website of the upsc department

    Then choose the option to fill the form and then select cds

    After that fill the form with your details and then in the

    Part ii of the registration upload your photo and signature

    And pay the fee through SBI Net Banking or Bank challan

    Then submit the form


    The Offline Method:

    First you have to purchase the form of the cds exam

    Which is available in the market and then

    Fill the form and stamp a fee if required and submit the form

    upsc(union public service commission) conducts CDS exam

    you can apply for CDS through online method or offline method.

    to apply online for the CDS exams just go to website,
    www.upsconline.nic.in

    to apply offline for the CDS exam you need to purchase the application form from the nearest head post office.

    eligibility criteria for the CDS exam:

    2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
