no, there is no any dress code for IAS officers because it is a civil post, but a formal and well maintained dress code is expected from them as they are going to be the mighty minds of the nation

no friend there is dress code for IAS officer,
it must be formal dress ,properly cleaned and well ironed.
dresses does not indicate ones function,do not bother bout dressing code.all these matter is your work function towards country,people,work.

Friend, the post of IAS is a civil post. So the IAS Officer does not required any dress code. As the post of IAS Officer is highly respectable and responsible. It is expected that the dress of an IAS Officer must be simple and formal. The dress of the IAS Officer must be in accordance to the weather and nature of work/office. The dress should be properly cleaned, ironed and soother.
