    Hi,

It depends on you i.e., how much effort you put & how you study. Make sure that you get all the study material required for the CSAT & keep in touch to the syllabus provided by the UPSC and keep on update yourself where ever required.

    Dear friend,

Upsc exams can be prepared from home if you know the proper strategy or have somebody to guide you properly. If you are totally a fresher and dont know how to prepare then the complete isolation may harm you as you dont know how to work hard and in which direction to move.

since i dont know in which stage you are i cannot say you firm solution.you evaluate as per the information as i have given in the above paragaraph.

Studying without distractions is required for upsc exam because you will have time crunch.so cut short all those things which is unnecessary and swallow your time and energy.

Use internet,tv only for carrying out necessary activities and use for less hours these are the main distractors.

if you are in the social networking sites then take care that dont waste your time.you should regulate yourself properly.

self control is the only key.

    all the best

How to prepare depends on your self-confidence & depth of knowledge.

If you are confident to go through the exam without coaching then get set to start the race.

    Allocate your time properly.

prepare a well-planned strategy of how to move on.

    Get standard books.

    Solve previous papers.

To completely isolate yourself from others you should have a study room.

Small study room will help you to concentrate well in your studies.

Do not keep any irrelevant things in your room except books that can divert your mind.

    all the best.
