for obc category age relaxtion 3 years ana attempts the exam 7times.
for sc/st category age relaxtion 5 years and attempts the exam no limit till 35 years.

There is no such provision for the female candidate regarding the age. The age criteria is generally 21-30years for all candidates except CPF ans CDS examination. Then the relaxation is available for the reserved category only,i.e., 3year for OBC and 5year for SC/ST. Thank you..

But, there are special age relaxation in different States Public Commission Exams in compared to UPSC. AGE limit as per UPSC for all including "GIRLS":- 1. 21 -30 yrs for General Caste 2. 21-33 yrs. for OBC (non creamy LAYER) 3. 21-35 yrs. for SC/ST Oh...Girls are EXEMPTED from FEE i.e. Rs. 50/- if they apply through "ONLINE" in case of CIVIL SERVICES EXAM of UPSC. But the same is not applicable if they apply "OFFLINE". Good Luck....

- There is no special kind of relaxation for girl aspirants in any of the UPSC exams. Relaxation provide under various caste holds good for the female aspirant if they belong to that caste.
- The only consideration that is given for female aspirant is full fee concession as in case of SC and St Aspirants.
- The government is planning for reservation for female aspirants as in the case of member of parliament and legislative assembly.
- Bill is expected to pass with 33 % reservation for them in the vacancies that is available in the service.

OBC: 21-33 years

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and if he/she is pursuing final year of the degree then they may apply for for preliminary exam
Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen
