The upsc organized exam for civil services, ISS, IES, CDS, INDIAN INTELLIGENCE BUREAU, INDIAN REVENUE DEPARTMENT AND FOR MANY OTHERS.

LIKE UPSC THEIR IS ALSO ANOTHER BODY WHICH ONLY CONDUCT THE EXAM FOR THE BANKS AND THAT IS IBPS. IBPS CONDUCT THE EXAMS FOR THE PROBATIONARY OFFICERS AND FOR CLERK.

SSC- for group C and D posts in various ministries and departments
state public service commission like TNPSC,MPSC - for GROUP A,B,C,D posts in state govt. service
RRB- for railways
IBPS- conducts exam for banking jobs, have to separately apply for public sector banks
Apart from this all PSU such as BSNL,BHEL, ISRO,DRDO conduct separate examination for themselves.
