Am I eligible for UPSC IAS exam after completion of BS Marine Engineering by distance education in Coimbatore Marine college under Vinayaka University?

sir, i have completed BS marine engineering by distance education in coimbatore marine college under vinayaka university. The university is not under AICTE approval but it is under ugc. Am i eligible to upsc IAS exam?

For the IAS exam you should fulfill the below criteria:
=> you should complete your graduation from any recognized university approved by either AICTE or UGC.
=> A final year student also eligible for the exam but before the main exam one have to complete the graduation .
=> Age limit :
21-30 for general cast
21-33 for obc cast
21-35 for sc/st cast
21-40 for physically handicapped.

=> Maximum allowable attempts :
4 for general cast
7 for obc cast
no limit for sc/st cast

So if you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for the exam otherwise not .

If your university is not approved by neither AICTE nor UGC then you are not eligible for the exam .
But as you written that your university is approved by UGC so that you are eligible for the exam .
The other criteria you should also fulfill like
Age criteria :

21-33 for obc cast

21-40 for physically handicapped.

So if you fulfill the age criteria also then you can give the exam .
But there are limits for the umber of times the exam is given like
4 for general cast
7 for obc cast
