>> As per the syllabus pattern of the MAINS exams,there is no truth in the rumors doing the rounds for the change in pattern.

# PAPER-I : English [ Qualifying Paper ] - 200 marks.

# PAPER-II : Another Optional Language Paper that you have to choose from the 26 languages [ Qualifying Paper ] - 300 marks.

# PAPER-IV & V : General Studies - 300 marks for each paper.

Dear friend,

CSAT result has been announced in the month of july itself.the qualified candidates will be appaering in the mains exam which is scheduled to be held on october 5.

as far as the mains pattern is concerned there is no change in it.this year it is not going to change.if the pattern will change upac will tell in advance.

upsc has appointed a commission to look in to the mains pattern.the report of the committee is awaited.once the report is submitted then we can expect some changes.

we have to wait for the upsc notification regarding the next year exam.

so prepare with the existing pattern as of now.
