Yes if your bone work well after medical treatment then you will be able for
ips exam.
But if after medical treatment your injured bone not able to do work well
then you are not able for the post of ips.
Because for ips
candidates must be physically or mentally fit is compulsary.

I am afraid that according to the rules and regulation of IPS exam.
you are not able to give IPS with bone injured problem.
because for IPS you must clear Physical test and to appear in it you must be
physically fit,which you can't with you bone.injury..
As I know that bone injury take minimum one year to recover.
so I suggest you to take rest for one year and be prepare for next year to give
100% in IPS
