So good communication skills in english is compulsory.
For appearing in ips exam
1)- you must be graduated from the recognised university with minimum
60% marks.
2)-age limit is 21- 30.
3)-you will get only 4 oppertunities to appear in ips exam.
4)- ips selection procedure is based on three stages-
1-pre.
2-mains.
3-interview.

Dear Aspirant
As english is international language,but it is not a compulsory language
in IPS exam,if you choose Hindi Language as your exam language then
you don't need to be wiry about your English,
this is provided in our constitution that every Government exam must be
have printed in Hindi and English for promoting Hindi language.
And also the Interviews should be on Hindi if candidate choose Hindi as its
Language in exam...
