IES stands for Indian Economic service and this Examination is conducted by Union Public service commission for every year. This Examination is Held during the month of November for which Notification comes in June month.

If your Interested to apply for this Examination than you should Complete Master degree Course in any one of the Specialization like, Economics /Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics from recognized University . Final year students are also eligible to apply.

So, If your Complete graduation in Economic Stream than your eligible for this Course .

Your age limit should be 21 years to 30 years of age and relaxation will applicable for reserved category candidates .

Question Papers of Indian Economics Service Exam

For the Indian Economic Service one should have a Post Graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics .Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.

Pattern for this exam:-

1. General English : 100 Marks 3 hours Duration
2. General Studies : 100 Marks 3 hours Duration
3. General Economics-I : 200 Marks 3 hours Duration
4. General Economics-II : 200 Marks 3 hours Duration
5. General Economics-III : 200 Marks 3 hours Duration
6. Indian Economics : 200 Marks 3 hours Duration
