Friend you can be rejected at any stage of the exam.
You should be physically and mentally fit for IPS exam
So it is very difficult to say that patient with asthama would not be rejected.
Friend you can be rejected at any time, specially at medical time.

for the post of Indian Police Services you need to be full fit i.e physical or mentally. So, you might be rejected at the time of Physical fitness Test.

i feel very bed to inform you that an asthma patient don't get selected into indian police service .
If you want write ips exam so you can apply for this exam .and i'm sure that you crack this exam
but exam's next level you are disqualified . And then you feel very bed .because ips exam's
qualification is :-
physically fit .
And you are not physically fit hence you cannot apply for ips
exam .

For the Exam Qualification Required:
# The candidate should be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian university
# The candidate of final year also apply for the exam
# The candidate age should be between 21-30
# Also their is age relaxation for the obc 3 years and for sc/st 5 years
# The candidate should be a citizen Of India
Physical Fitness:
-The candidate should be physically fit
-And the candidate does not suffering from any diseases
As you are a asthma patient
So your rejection chances are more
As they have clearly mention that

sorry to say but a person suffering from asthma cannot pass the medical
test for the ips....
as they need fit soldier both physical and mental......
according to their standards you are not eligible for this....
but you can go for ias....

IPS Stands for Indian Police Services.
After crack written exam then you call for medical test.
For medical test candidates must be physically and mentally fit.
Candidates must be free form any diseases .
So,you are not eligible for IAS exam.
Please consult doctor for this disease.

Sorry friend but to become IPS Officer you have to go through a series of Physical Fitness Tests. Since you are an Asthma patient you'll be disqualified in the Medical tests.
Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
Educational Qualification
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university
Age limit
General 21-30 yrs
SC/ST 21-35 yrs
OBC 21-33 yrs
PH 21-40 yrs
Number of attempts permitted
General 4
OBC 7
PH 7
SC/ST No Limit
Nationality should be Indian.
Special Physical Requirements For IPS
1.Minimum height of 165 cm for Men and 150 cm for Women (minimum height is relaxable to 160 and 145 cm for Men and Women respectively in the case of candidates belonging to ST and to races such as Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc.)
2.Min Chest girth fully expanded: 84 cm for Men and 79 cm for Women. Expansion of 5 cm for Men and Women.
3.Total amount of Myopia (including the cylinder) should not exceed minus 4.00 D and total amount of Hypermetropia (including the cylinder) should not exceed plus 4.00 D
4.Presence of Squint is a disqualification

For this candidate must be Physically and mentally fit
