Yes the Distance Degree holders can also apply for the
OTA Exam which comes under a common exam the combine defence services exam
and you can apply for the exam without any problem
as for the cds you just need a graduate degree from a recognized
university and it does not matter from which university
or in which mode you have passed the graduation degree
means whether you have passed the graduation in distance mode
or whether you have passed the degree in the regular mode the
only thing matters is that the university must be recognized
Qualifications Required for CDS OTA :
The Candidate must be pass in the graduate degree
The Final year can also allowed for the exam
The age of the candidate should be between
19 to 25 years for the ota and their is no
limitation on the number of attempts means unlimited attempts allowed

Yes definitely distance graduates are eligible for CDS Exam. CDS Exam. CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination.
CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).
The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.
Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Final year students can also apply.

Yes ,distance education graduate is also eligible for OTA exam.
OTA exam is a part of CDS exam .
For ota exam age must be between 19 to 24 years.
Male and female both are eligible .
For OTA exam,candidates must have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
UPSC conduct cds exam 2 times in a year.
For ota exam ,first stage is written then second is five day interview by ssb and last is medical test.
