    Hello

CDSE(OTA)-Combined Defense Service Examination(Officer Training Academy).

OTA is different from IMA,in the sense that OTA only provides short service commission where as IMA offers permanent commission.

    CDSE exam papers.

    English.
    General Knowledge.
    Elementary Mathematics

The syllabus is all class 10 syllabus, candidates would be able to answer them even without much trying for it.

English and General Knowledge are the only two subjects for CDSE(OTA) exam.
Where as this is not the case with IMA.

CDSE(IMA) have three papers to be examined.
    English,General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics.

But syllabus of CDSE(IMA) and CDSE(OTA) of common papers are same that is English and General Knowledge.

OTA means the officers training academy, this is different from the IMA because in Officers training academy examination there will be no maths.
But in the Indian millitary academy there will be maths in the examination.
So you should not compare these two as these are two different academies.
These are comes under the CDS examination, so it will be combined defence services examination which comes under the UPSC india.
All you need to do is to apply for the examination by seeing the eligibility criteria for the same as follows-
Eligibility criteria for the CDS examination-
CDS stands for the combined defence services examination conducted by UPSC to select the candidates in defence services.

19 to 23 years for the air force.
19 to 24 years for IMA.
19 to 25 years for OTA.
