    Can I appear in UPSC exams with a correspondence degree? Will it be counted as a valid degree certificate?

    hi sir..i pursued my BE(regular) from 2009...unfortunately i was hospitalised in final year for 6 months....so i am unable to write my 7 th and 8th sem...in the mean time i completed my correspondence degree in an university recognised by UGC ...year 2009 to 2012...now can i appear for my upsc with that correspondence degree???will it be valid???

    Friend, please note that in terms of educational qualification, candidate must fulfill the following conditions mentioned below:# Must be holder of ANY BACHELOR DEGREE# Bachelor Degree must be obtained from ANY RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY# MODE OF BACHELOR DEGREE MAY BE EITHER CORRESPONDENCE OR REGULAR.# Candidate don't required any fixed marks or percentage marks in entire academic career.# Only pass marks in entire academic career is sufficient for the UPSC Examination.Now you have done the graduation from a recognised university through Correspondence Mode, so you are fully eligible for the UPSC Examination.For UPSC Examination, only any degree from recognised university is required. And no emphasis given on the MODE AND NATURE OF THE GRADUATION DEGREE.
