First thing is your good that you want to join civil services exam.As you know Civil services exam like-IAS/IPS are conducted by UPSC.
To join civil services exam,degree from corresponding is valid.
IAS exam Eligibility;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.
Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
10 years for PH candidates

As eligibility criteria just demands that you must be graduate from a recognized university... it doesn't matter whether you get your degree via correspondance course or not.

i have completed my 10th standard exam with 85%. I have not completed 12th exams. I am currently pursuing B.Com degree which i have taken on age basis from Bangalore University , Directorate of correspondence courses and distance education. I am in final year and i wish to appear for IAS exam.
will the completion of the degree i am currently pursuing,make me eligible for IAS exams without the completion of my 12th std.
