-Sorry , but you are not eligible to appear for the CDS exams to be conducted in February,2013,as 2nD year Graduation students are not applicable.ONLY FINAL YEAR APPEARING STUDENTS,AND THOSE WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR GRADUATION MAY APPLY.
-The Combined Defence Service(CDS) exams are conducted bi-annually by the UPSC for the recruitment of deserving candidates in
the INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY(IMA),OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY(OTA),NAVAL ACADEMY and AIR FORCE.
-The complete ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA of the CDS exams
are mentioned below-
# NATIONALITY-You must be a citizen of
India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or
Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled
permanently in India,before 1962.
# AGE LIMIT-
(1) For IMA Exams : 19 to 24 years.
(2) For OTA Exams : 19 to 25 years.
(3) For Navy : 19 to 22 Years.
(4) For Air Force : 19 to 23 years.
# EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS-
(1) For OTA and IMA-You must have
completed your Graduation or Equivalent
from a recognized university,with any
subject or stream.
Final year students are also applicable.
(2) For Navy and Air Wing-You must have
completed your Engineering or BSc(in
Physics or Maths) from a recognized
university.
Final year students are also applicable.

Sorry to say this you are not eligible to apply for Officer Training Academy examination while pursing in the Second year of degree course because to apply for Officer Training Academy examination , you must completed graduate with any desire subject of a recognized University . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply .

Officer Training Academy (OTA) comes under CDS Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II . CDS I examination was already completed 12/02/12 and CDS II notification was already out on 02/06/12 .

~~Last date for receipt of application :- 02/07/12
~~Date of examination :- 16/09/12 .

To apply for OTA examination , you have to completed graduate degree with any stream of recognized University or equivalent qualification and those who are appearing in the final year of course can also eligible to apply . But while pursing in the pre-final year of degree course may not eligible to apply .

As per the notification of CDS II , the student born not earlier than 2nd July , 1988 and not later then 1st July , 1994 are eligible to apply .

## Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply for OTA Exam .
## Age should be between 19 years and 25 years .
## Physically and mentally fit according to the physical standards .
## Candidate must be Indian National .

you can't apply for the exam as 2nd year students

Are not allowed to sit in the exam as only final year

Students are only allowed to sit in the exam whether it is a upsc exam

Or a Indian military exam

Educational qualification: The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized university

Or a final year student of graduation can also eligible

So first complete you graduation then you can apply for the exam

You can go for Officer Training Academy through CDS exam conducted by UPSC.


Qualification for CDS exam

You should be graduate in any stream from valid university

Final year candidates can also apply for UPSC exam

You must be Indian.

Male and female both can apply for OTA exam

You should be physically fit.
