-Apart from NDA,you can appear for the Combined Defence Services(CDS) exams if you are keen upon joining Indian Army.
-The CDS exams are conducted twice in an year,by the UPSC,for enrollment of deserving candidates into Indian Military Academy(IMA),Officers Training Academy(OTA),Naval Academy and Air Force.

There are three academies in CDS examination:
I.M.A. and Officers� Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy
There are different eligibility criteria for these different academies.
1. For I.M.A. and Officers� Training Academy- Graduation Degree from a recognized University .

FEE :
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs 200/- (Rs two hundred only) either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card

No admission certificate will be sent by post
If a candidate does not receive his/her e-Admission certificate or any other communication regarding his/her candidature for the examination three weeks before the commencement of the examination, he/she should at once contact the commission
