No my friend you are not eligible for the Engineering exam because only engineers are allowed for giving the exam .
The criteria for the IES exam is below :
-> one should done their B.E. / B.Tech from any recognized university in one of the following branches
Mechanical
Electrical
Civil
Electronics & Telecommunication

-> one age should be between 21-30 for general cast , 21-33 for obc cast , 21-35 for sc/st cast .

So based on above criteria you are not eligible .

But in other exam like UPSCfor IAS , IPS and IFS you are eligible so instead for IES prepare those exams , it will give you same position as well as power like IES .

So go for that exam .

The UPSC conducts generally the IES examination for the branches of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Electronics and Electrical Engineering. So as a MCA student, you can't come to any of these above branches. So, sorry, You can't appear for Indian Engineering Services examination.

>> You do not meet the essential educational qualifications !!

- The IES exams are conducted in June and span for a period of three days.This year the exam were conducted on the 15th of June,2012.
The notifications of the release of forms are made in February or March,every year on the official website of the UPSC.

The ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the IES exams are mentioned below ::

01. NATIONALITY.
You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

02. AGE LIMITS.
You must be 21 TO 30 YEARS OF AGE.
However the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and upto 3 years for OBC candidates.

03. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
You must have completed your BTech from a recognized university with any subject or stream.
Final year students are also applicable.
However all candidates will have to choose from within Electrical Engineering,Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering & Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering to appear the exams.

>> Clearly,from above,you do not meet the educational qualifications,and hence you cannot appear for the IES exams.

because in IES only Engineering graduates can apply.

say you that,you can give any Upsc examinations

just after passing the graduation.and you have passed
your

graduation as now you are doing MCA,I am trying to

tell you that after BCA you can apply in UPSC exam

no need to do higher education to give UPSC

examinations.

-->Must have pass the graduation from any

recognized university or organization.


-->Those Candidates who are in final year can also

able to give this examinations.But they have to

percentage from any university

you should eligible to write any UPSC engineering exam

you should study the maths and physics in your 12th or your degree

you can also opt for CDS and groups exam

so u can't apply for this exam .

Sorry to say this you are not eligible to apply for Engineering Service Examination . Because this examination is conducted only for Engineering not for Master degree holders . You are qualification is not matching the this examination . So you can not apply for this examination .

This year Engineering Service Exam notification was already announced and Last date for receipt of application on 09/04/12 . The examination was completed on 15/June/12 . Next announcement will be publish in the month of March OR April in the official website .

## Possessing Engineering degree of a recognized Institute OR equivalent qualification .

As per eligibility criteria of the IES (Indian Engineering Service) examination you are not eligible for the IES examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC in every year. Here i give you the details eligibility criteria for the IES examination.

Eligibility Criteria for the IES examination.
->Degree in B.Tech from a recognize University.
->The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of the examination.

The reservation is also applicable as per government rule for the reservation category candidates.

Note :- Computer Science and IT branch is not eligible for the IES examination.

So, if you are a MCA passed candidates then as per eligibility criteria you are not eligible for the IES examination. I advise you to go for another examination.

because for this exams only engineering candidates can apply,

but you can apply for other upsc exams as you are a graduated person,
