    Hello,

First of all we have to tell you that the minimum qualification for the UPSC examination is Graduation. You should not wait for the MCA Certificate.

You can apply for IAS/IPS examination for the Administrative Services.

For IAS/IPS exams you can get the job of Indian Administrative Service like DC Deputy Collector or DM deputy Magistrate and for IPS you can get Superintendent Of Police i.e. SP etc.

If you want to take Science or commerce in UPSC Mains exam then you can take.

But I suggest you to take Arts Subjects like History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy etc. If you have good writing skills then you can absolutely Crack the Exam.

There are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects like Hindi, English, Bengali etc.

    Wish you all the best,

    Dear candidate,
You are completely right in judging that there isn't any such subject related to you as such as those in your graduation courses.
But you need not worry .
You can definitely opt for other subjects.
And I would recommend you to go for the ARTS subjects.
THE SUBJECTS-INDIAN HISTORY,PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,GEOGRAPHY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE,ARE DOING GREAT ROUNDS IN THESE EXAMS.
THEY FORM THE CORE PART IN PRELIMINARY EXAMS TOO.SO YOU WILL BE HIGHLY BENEFITED.AS THEY ARE EVEN VERY SCORING,YOU WILL HAVE GREATER CHANCES TO CRACK THE CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS.

    GOOD LUCK.

For almost any MS, you must take the geaenrl exam.Look on the website of the school you wish to attend to see if they also require the subject exam.No one is going to ask for the subject exam alone; if they want the subject exam, you have to take both.
