Anyone can apply for the upsc exam after completing graduation in any stream. You are completing any group examination but if you have no any graduation degree then you cannot apply for the upsc exam.
The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

- Coming to age limit you should not cross your age 30
- If you have any reservation then you might be relaxable 3 or 5 years
- If you are bc candidate then additional age limit is 3 years

You are eligible for the exam. Upsc required only passed graduate candidate from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. The percentage of the marks or the grade is no matter for the civil service exam. Final year appear candidate also appear in the exam. So don�t worry if you complete your graduation from the approved university then you are eligible for the exam.
Age limit for the exam:-
The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.
The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.
Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited
