    Hi Aspirant,


    Of course, after becoming an IAS officer you can complete your PG and PHD.

    Friend there is no restriction that after IAS you cannot increase your educational qualification.

    Even you have lack of time, and then you can complete your graduation in distance mode from any good college.

    So friend don�t worry about this and start the preparation for the civil service exam.

    You need to very hard work for the preparation of civil service exam.


    Exam pattern for the civil service exam

    Preliminary exam ( 400 marks)

    Interview (300 marks)

    After qualifying the written exam you will be called for the personality test and Interview.


    Number of attempts in civil exam

    4 attempts for general candidates

    7 attempts for OBC candidates

    No limit for SC/ST candidates

    Yes, sure you can do both course after becoming IAS officer but dear for both course you will have to very work hard with struggle.

    dear aspirant,


    yes of course you can complete your PG or Ph.D after becoming an IAS officer. There is no restriction on IAS officer. You can increase your educational qualification after becoming an IAS officer. So don't worry about that.

    To become an IAS officer you have to appear for Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC.

    for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:


    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.



    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
    and you must have attained the minimum age on same date and you have not attained the upper age on similar date.


    Limit Number Of Attempts:


    >>General: 4 attempts
    >>OBC: 7 attempts
    >>SC/ST: No Limit

    CSAT(Prelims):

    yes friend after becoming an IAS officer you can continue your study.

    You can do PG or PH.D after cracking the Civil Service exam.

    There is no restriction in civil service that you can not continue further study.

    So friend don't worry about this issue.
