Hi,
NDA Entrance stands for National Defense Academy Entrance exam. The entrance exam is carried out by Union Public Service Commission for the selection of the Students into the Air Force, Naval and Army wings of the NDA.
This exam also comes under UPSC.
Hence if you dream to join the army,you can appear for this exam!

Hi,As far as Indian Army is concern Yes UPSC related to army if to want to join army you should appere in NDA Examination after completion of your 12th class.NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e., NDA I and NDA II.NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings:� Indian Air Force� Indian Navy� Indian ArmyThe Eligibility Criteria:** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class.** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no an upper age criteria.** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.** The candidate must be citizen of India

The UPSC stands for UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.
It is a body which conducts different civil service related exams and the other government related recruiting exams.
Like UPSC conducts exams like IAS,IPS,NDA,CDSE,SARC etc.
All these exams are related to government services,like IAS is police services,NDA is recruitment in army,navy and air force etc
Now as army is a government organization,so recruitment in army is made through UPSC .
NDA is a entrance through which candidates are selected for army,air force and navy and is conducted by UPSC ,10+2 passed is the required qualifications.
CDSE is a entrance again conducted by UPSC for entry in to
IMA-Indian Military Academy.
OTA-Officers' Training Academy.
NA-Naval Academy.
AFA-Air Force Academy.
Now for entry in to the army you need to apply for IMA and OTA.

UPSC is a constitutional body mandated to conduct recruiting exams for various govt. posts. UPSC is not related to army but conduct exams for CDS and NDA which belongs to army.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is a government body which conducts various exams for various government posts.
It also conducts two Exams for recruitment of candidates in Defence.
1. NDA & NA Examination
2. CDS Examination
If you are undergraduate then you can apply for NDA & NA Examination.
NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.
The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.
Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.
Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.
Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.
If you are a graduate the you have to apply for CDS Examination.
CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination it is also conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of candidates in Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers Training Academy.

For IMA (Indian Military Academy ) : 19-24 years
For Naval Academy : 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
For OTA (officer Training Academy) : 19-24 years

For IMA & OTA : Must be Graduate from any recognized university
For Naval Academy: Must be Graduate in Engineering any stream from any recognized university
For Air Force : Must be Graduate from any recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at 12th level OR
