This year you were not eligible to write NDA examination as you just entered into 12th standard.
You will be eligible to write this examination next year that is NDA I 2014.
So, prepare well for the examination and try to clear it in one go.
You have not mentioned your age which is an important criteria for NDA.
If you don't fulfill age requirements then there is no use appearing for it.

for the NDA exam only 12th passed or 12th appearing candidates are eligible .
the age limit of the exam is 16-1/2 to 19 years.
so if you lie in the above mentioned age group then you can surely apply for the NDA exam.

Friend, presently you seems not eligible for NDA Examination. But you will be eligible for NDA I Examination 2014. But make sure that your age must be above the age of 16.5 years, otherwise you are not eligible. It is mandatory that candidate must have attained the age of 16.5 years and in the same time, candidate should either passed 10+2 or appeared in 10+2. Also candidate must not be above the age of 19 years. In NDA Examination, married candidates are not preferred and they are summarily rejected. Candidate must be only a boy. you are definitely eligible for applying for the NDA examination.
as the minimum qualification for the examination of NDA is 12 passed / appeared with a govt. recognized board .
and you should definitely apply because you have limited chances to get appear in the examination.
but this is only not at all ,,there are other requirements also. which means if you have other qualifications also only then you will be called eligible for the same.
so look at the details about the same.
Qualification:-
* you must have the citizenship of India as there are only Indian candidates are allowed to give the examination.
* only unmarried male candidates are allowed to give the examination. girls and married candidates are restricted in the
examination.
* as described above the educational qualification required is 12th.( with physics and mathematics for navy and air
force.
* the candidate must be physically fit.
* age must be in between 16.5-19 years.

yes, you can apply for NDA exam right now. you can also apply for NDA exam in 2014. NDA exam is conducted twice as NDA-I in April and NDA-II in August months of every year by UPSC.
Exam is conducted for the posts in Navy, Army and Air Force. for NDA you have completed or appearing in 12th with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent from recognized Board or College.
your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.there is no relaxation for any category.
you must be Indian Citizen and you should be unmarried male.
