IES/ISS Exam also called Indian Economic Services/Indian Statistical Services.
Indian Statistical Services Exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit statistical professionals in departments of Central Government.
If you have done post graduation in any of these subjects like Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics then you are eligible to appear for IES/ISS Exam.
You have to satisfy the Eligibility Criteria mentioned below to appear for IES/ISS Exam :
-->The age of the candidate should be in between 21 to 30 years. There is relaxation as 3 years for OBC, 5 years SC/ST and 10 years for PH category candidates.
-->The candidate should be Indian.
-->The Exam Fee is 200 rupees and Female/SC/ST/PH category candidates are nor required to pay the fees.
-->The candidate should be having a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathmatical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from university recognized by UGC for post of ISS

- Indian Statistical Services i.e ISS examination is conducted by UPSC every year in the month of November.
- As per the educational qualification requirement, you must have the post graduation degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics.
- Even being in final year, you are eligibile for this examination.
- The age of your's must have to be in between 21 years to 30 years as on 1st january of year of examination.
- If you are from the reserved category then you will be eligibile for upper age relaxation.
Indian Statistical Service Exams are conducted by UPSC.
Eligibilty to apply for ISS exams is Post Graduation degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.
Age- Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years
OBC can apply till 33 years
