for UPSC exams you need only graduation with any subjects(any field).
"so it does not matter that you have done graduation in any honours Subject or not."
Eligibility Criteria:
for UPSC exams you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.
And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

It is no necessary to complete the honours subject . If you are completed graduate degree then you are eligible to apply for UPSC Examination . No need to complete the degree course in honours subject . According to your qualification , you can apply for CDS Examination , CPF Exam and Civil Service examination .
CDS Means for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted twice in a year . It is a defence examination and this use to you can join the Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force and Officer Training Academy .
Those who have qualified graduate degree with Physics and Mathematics OR completed engineering can apply for Naval Academy Examination and Air force Academy Examination . If you are completed degree in other streams then you are eligible to apply for Military Academy / Officer Training Academy .
CDS Exam Last date for receipt of application on 02/07/12 and the examination will be held on 16/Sept/12 .
CPF Means Central Police Service examination and this examination is conducted Once in year and Next notification will be available from 28/07/12 . This examination is conducted for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) Viz BSF , CRPF , CISF , ITBP , SSB .

Yes you are eligible for the UPSC Exams.
They do not have an essential eligibility criteria of graduation with any honors subject.
For example the UPSC Civil Services Exam just require a degree from a recognized University as the minimum essential eligibility criteria.
So as you have done your graduation from a recognized university (Calcutta University) so you are eligible for the UPSC Exams.
You can also choose Mathematics and Economics as your subjects for the mains exam.
Surely you can apply for upsc civil service exam or upsc cpo assissstant commandant exam etc. , because the educational qualification for these exams are a degree from a recognised university be it pass or honours. no percentage is required also.

UPSC requires that the student must be a graduate from any recognized university, but it does not specify any required subjects.
So, you are eligible for the exam. The eligibility criteria are as below:
The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university. Even final year pursuing graduates can apply.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:
Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe: upto a maximum of five years.
Other Backward Classes: upto a maximum of three years.
State of Jammu & Kashmir : upto a maximum of five years.
Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years
No of attempts allowed:
1. General - 4 years
2. OBC - 7 years
3. SC/ST - no limit
You can apply for the exam once the notification for it comes out...
You can do this in 2 ways..
1. Online: fill the form online by visiting the website, you must upload a photo and signature and submit it.
2. Offline: you can obtain the form from post office, fill it up in blue/black point pen with signature and photo and then mail it to the upsc board.

because every aspirant having graduation degree
in any subjects form a recognized university is eligible to apply for the upsc examinations.
graduation in an honors subject is not a condition to apply for the upsc examination.
i want to mention that honors students are also eligible for the upsc exams.
you are fully eligible to apply for upsc examinations with your educational qualifications.
for the upsc graduation based examination
you must have attained the age of 21 years to become eligible for the exams
OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
