Hai, I'm sudheesh K.C. I am waiting for my P.G. result. I did my post graduation in M.Sc. Applied Statistics with Computer Application. I scored around 75% average marks upto the third semester. I have secured 79.30% marks in B.Sc. Mathematics degree. The result of M.Sc. exam will come soon. I did my accademic project in the subject time-series named " A statistical study on the time series data of share history" using the statistical procedures such as time series and its measures and models, exponential and smoothing methods and ARIMA methodology with the help of statistical software SPSS, Microsoft Excel and Matlab. The study is on the data of historical prices of the shares of the General Electric Company. I am expert in SPSS and have attended in 10 days SAS training class. I won a second class in K.G.T.E. English type writing and computer word processing. But I am not very well in English communication. But I can improve this skill.
I want to become a Statistical analyst. In addition to this desire I also want to do a Phd program in Statistics. I have applied for the Indian Statistical Services Examination 2011. I want to know more about ISS. I also want to know about Indian statistical Institutes(ISI). My native place in Kerala. Now I'm residing at Kochi in Ernakulam District. I'm ready to go anywhere in India. Can you give me awareness about statistical assistant/investigator/ compiler? Which are the wide variety opportunities in Statistics? Could you help me?
