Sorry you are not eligible for any army exam, because your age is 35 year that is much more than maximum age limit for the army exam.

For NDA exam
Age limit is 16.5 to 19 year,

For CDS exam
Age limit is 19 to 25 year.

So sorry you can't apply.

No, dear you are not eligible to join Indian Army according to UPSC bcoz for NDA or CDS which come into Indian Army for both exams your age should be 16.5-19 yrs and qualification should be Intermediate or equivalent.

Sorry friend but you are overage for any Exam through which you can join Indian Army. There are two Exams conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of candidates in Indian Army.
Age Limit
NDA & NA Examination 16.5 to 19 years
CDS Examination 19 to 24 years
And you are over age for both the Exams. Since you are M.A, M.Ed you can pursue other interesting careers

There are maximum age should be
For General 21
For SC/ST 26
For OBC 24

So dear you can not apply dues to your above age

At the age of 35 years ,you are not eligible for any defense examinations because of fact that:

>>For NDA examinations the upper age limit is 19 years

>>For CDS examinations ,the upper age limit is 25 years.

As you have mentioned that you have done M.A that is master of arts and M.ed that is master of education ,so I would suggest you to go for the NET examinations for the lectureship post.

NET stands for the National eligibility test conducted twice every year by the UGC.

>>Master 's degree with minimum of 55% marks is the minimum requirement to apply for the examinations.

>>For lectureship post,there is no upper age limit.

At this there is less opportunity to join the Indian Army. If you experienced in the any of defence forces like BSF , CRPF, ITBF etc .Then you can apply for the National Security Guard. In this age you can get the job of the National Security Guard if you have good career in the above aid departments.

The age limit for the NSG is Not below 30 years means you are eligible for this field.

In this field Again there two sub parts

# Special Action Group
# Special rangers Group

You should be Indian citizen
Your age should not below 30 years
You should not fall under any criminal cases

And also you should have good career in the departments said above

You can also join the Indian territorial Army .It is the extra defence for the country
In order to join this department you have to work in the other departments and along with that one you can get it. The Territorial Army requires the extra defence in the emergence conditions

Friend, you are unfortunate that you are not eligible for joining Indian army. Because your age is too exceeding than required age.You have cross the age limit for both NDA Examination as well as CDS Examination such as 16.5-19 years for NDA Examination 19-25 years for CDS ExaminationBut still you have a ray of hope.You can even try your luck for the post of Leiutenant in Territorial Army. For which, required age limit is 18-42 years. Sorry friend you are not eligible for Indian Army because you have crossed the maximum age limit for Indian Army. Because to join Indian through UPSC Exam, you have two options NDA, CDS and age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years and for CDS is 19 to 24 years.

You have good acadamic qualifications.But I am sorry to say that your age is 35 years which is above the maximum age limit of any army exam:- NDA is 16.5-19 years.- CDS is 19-25 years.- So you can not apply for army exams now.

We are really sorry to say dear that you are not eligible to get the job in Indian Army because you have crossed the maximum age limit which is required for this post means a candidate should not be more than 25 years old to apply for Indian army basically but you have crossed and your current age is more than 35 years so that you are also not eligible for other UPSC exams.

If you have completed MA then you have a option to make your career which is following

UGC NET - National Eligibility Test which is conducted to find out lecturers in various subjects for teaching line and you can only apply after completing master's degree with at least 55% marks and 50% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates

Candidate joins the army, navy, air force through cds exam which is taken by the upsc twice a year.
Eligibility criteria:-
Indian Military Academic age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years
Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years
The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as:-


For Indian military academy graduation in any stream
For Officer training academy graduation in any stream.


For Indian air force graduation in science stream
For The naval graduation in science stream
You are not eligible for the exam. so you go with you present job

Unfortunately you can not apply for Army at your age.The age for postgraduate candidates are higher in Army and Airforce mainly for teaching jobs but even for that you are not eligible.It is better if you select other field rather than planning for defence services.
