Can I sit for NDA 2 exam without having mathematics subject in class 12th?

Sir,
I don't have maths in my class-XII which i just appeared.can i able to sit in the NDA-II examination which was conducted by UPSC??

You must have a minimum of 12TH CLASS FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY

And the minimum age could be 16.5 years

Yes definitely you can write NDA & NA Exam without having mathematics in class 12th. You can apply for Indian Army wing of NDA.
NDA & NA I and NDA & NA II are just two names of same exam. There is no difference between both.
NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitmentof candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

Eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.
The candidate should be unmarried.
The candidate should be Indian.

The Educational Qualification required is as follows:
For Army: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.

For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th appearing or 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.

NDA II

but you can join only indian army or navy through NDA exam , because for Air force Mathematics is the compulsory subject in class 12th.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC NDA - II Examination 2013

Indian Military : Should have passed in class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board and those who are awaited for their result may also apply for this examination

Indian Navy and Air force : Should have passed in class 12th with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the - Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science from a recognized board

Age should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years

Dear if you did not complete your 12th class with mathematics then there is no problem because you can apply for Indian Military section under NDA on the basis of any discipline 12th class and you can apply for NDA II within these following dates

Examination Pattern for UPSC NDA Examination

Mathematics - 300 marks objective type
General Ability Test - 600 marks objective type

Qualifying in both papers is necessary to get the call for interview process and if you got selected in examination then you would be called for SSB Interview process and if you qualify this process and other medical and physical standards then you will get the post under defense department of India so that you have to prepare well for each and every single section

To apply for NDA examination you must pass 12th class with science group subjects.
Mathematics and Physics are the compulsory subjects to apply .
So, you are not eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force category posts.
Okay , no problem you can give NDA examination under Indian army category which is required any subject in 12th class.

YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR THE NDA EXAM.

The NDA exam is conducted in order to select the candidates for all three wings of the defence that is for the air force,army and navy.Now the eligibility criteria for the NDA is
1)The candidates must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent exam to 10+2.
2)The candidate needs to have maths and physics for selecting the preferences Air Force and Navy and any stream is applicable for the army.
3)No percentage is required.
4)The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

Now as you did not had maths in 10+2 you can not apply for the air force and navy wings but is applicable for the army wing.

you can apply for NDA exam if you do not have mathematics in the 12th class.

But you can apply for the Army wing only and you can not join the Indian Air Force & Indian Navy.

Because in Air force and Navy the candidate must have Physics and Mathematics in the 12th class.

So if you have not mathematics then you can apply for the Army only.

Your age for the exam must be in between 16.5-19 years.
