Definitely the questions of SSC are much much easier than those in UPSC.UPSC Mains have subjective papers and the standards are so high that even 60% marks will take you to a very very high rankins.For the objective papers even if you think the questions are easy,the answer options will be so confusing that only a candidate with very deep and detailed knowledge will succeed.
SSC questions are not of the same standard as that of Civil services and you can see that if you check the questions yourself.If you prepare hard for UPSC,then SSC will be a cakewalk for you.Many candidates take that route for success.They keep preparing for UPSC CS exam and then they get easily into SSC CGLE at good posts.There the work pressure is low and they keep preparing for CS exam and qualify after few attempts.
