Dear Tushar,

To become IPS officer you need to have minimum education qualification of Graduate from a recognised University.

Percentage does not matter in your graduation, you just need to be passed in your graduation to apply for examination.

So if you haven't completed your graduation than I advise you to complete your graduation first and than apply for examination.

To be an IPS officer after completion of Intermediate you should take admission for graduation degree.

You can complete your graduation in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

After Completion of graduation you should apply for Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

This exam is conducted once in a year.

You should satisfy the eligibility criteria of UPSC.


Eligibility

Candidates must have graduation degree from UGC valid university or its equivalent.

Final year candidates are eligible to apply.

Age should be 21 to 30 years for CSE

Age relaxation

For schedule caste and tribes + 5 years

For Other Backward Classes + 3 years

For physically handicapped + 10 years

You must be Indian.
