    FCI Stands for Food Corporation of India and this examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year and CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year . Both the examinations are different don't be confuse .

    CDS Exam is related to the Defence Services and FCI Exam is related to the Food Corporations in Assistant Graduate Level .

    CDS Examination having the various entries like Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy , Officer Training Academy .

    FCI Examination having the positions like Assistant Grade in General , Accounts , Technical , Depot .

    To apply for CDS Examination , you must have a graduate degree OR engineering degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this examination .

    Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for Army , Naval , and Air force . Both the gender are eligible to apply for Officer Training Academy examination .

    Age limits :: Military Academy :: 19 - 24 , Air force :: 19 - 23 years , Naval Academy :: 19 - 22 years and Officer Training Academy :: 19 - 25 years .

    Eligibility Criteria for FCI Assistant Grade (General / Depot ) :-

    You must have a completed graduate degree with any desire stream from a recognized University and there is no percentage bar required for this examination .

    Eligibility Criteria for FCI Assistant Grade ( Account ) :-

    You must have a completed graduate degree with Commerce from a recognized University and there is no percentage bar required for this examination .

    Eligibility for FCI Assistant Grade (Technical ) :-

    You should have to completed B.Sc degree with agriculture from a recognized University OR You must have a B.Sc with any one of the following subjects Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science from a recognized University OR You must have B.E/B.Tech with Food Technology & Science / Agriculture Engineering / Biotechnology from a recognized University .

    Age limits ::

    Your age must not more than 27 years and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories .

    Note :: You must have a computer literacy .
