Re: Is diploma course considered as valid qualification for UPSC or MPSC exam/recruitment?

    Dear friend,

I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible for any competition examination conducted by upsc , because there is no

any examination for diploma holders ,but don't loose your heart if you want to get job through upsc then you have to complete

graduation with a govt recognized university and you have proper time to do this .

there is no matter what percentage you earn because there is no any percentage barrier.

although there are two exams conducted by upsc for 12 the std. students which are

    1. NDA & NA EXAMINATION.

    2. SCRA EXAMINATION.

but there are a very short age criteria so may be you can't fit in it even if you are 12th pass-out.

so it is better for you to complete your degree and try to get job through that degree by appearing in civil services examination.

to be eligible for civil services examination there are other qualifications also required to fulfill by the candidate .

like the candidate must be an Indian citizen.

    and

    age criteria:-

for general category candidate : 21-30 years.

for obc category candidate :- 3 years age relaxation.

for sc/st category candidate :- 5 years age relaxation .

there are an age relaxation also provided for the ex serviceman and physically handicapped persons of 5 and 10 years respectively .

after completing graduation you have to apply for the civil services examination which is a combined examination for govt. services

.and to apply for it you have to fill the application form on the website:- http://www.upsconline.nic.in

for other details regarding examination you may visit:- http://www.upsc.gov.in

    good luck !

    Hello

NO DIPLOMA IS NOT CONSIDERED AS A VALID QUALIFICATION UPSC OR MPSC EXAMS.
MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission and UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.
UPSC conducts mainly civil services, defence services, medical services mostly of services to central Government.MPSC is a civil service of state Maharashtra.
Now except NDA(National Defence Academy) and SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) .all other exam conducted by UPSC ,the minimum qualification is graduation.
Diploma is considered as equivalent to 10+2.But not graduation.

Any civil services state or central, the minimum qualification required is graduation.
So as for MPSC,you are not allowed for MPSC.
