    Dear,

you are not eligible for the civil service exam and mpsc. because almost both of the same exam difference is the one is

state level and other is center level,

both are the required graduation degree ln any stream from recognized university by the ugc/aicet.

best of luck for the future.

Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC conducts exams for Graduates candidate. If you want to appear in UPSC exams then first of all you have to complete your graduation.

You can apply for ias or ips or ifs examination if you complete graduation in any stream and if you complete your 4 year B.Tech degree then you can appear in ies examination i.e. engineering services examination.

But there is one examination name SCRA exam i.e. Special Class Railway Apprentice examination in which 10+2 or equivalent candidate can apply.

    dear friend,

diploma is equivalent to 12th class. So you can apply for UPSC SCRA and NDA exam.

    Age Limit :

    1. For NDA 16.5 years to 19 years.
    2. For SCRA 17 years to 21 years.

but if you complete your graduation you can apply for various UPSC and MPSC exams. So according to my point of view you must complete your graduation first then apply for UPSC and MPSC exams.

    Good Luck.......

Re: Am I eligible to appear in MPSC and UPSC exams being a diploma holder of Information technology?

    dear friend,

MPSC stands for maharastra public service commission,
UPSC stands for union public service commission.

MPSC conducts exams at the state level whereas UPSC conducts exams at the central level.

but the eligibility criteria for the both MPSC(maharastra public service commission.) and UPSC(union public service commission) are same,
both requires graduated candidate from a recognized university,

diploma holders are not eligible for MPSC and UPSC exams.
so being a holder of information tech. you cannot apply for the MPSC and UPSC exams.
