But the way questions are asked is different.
as example, UPSC focusses more on national level in Indian national movement. But suppose if you are writing MPSC exam, then questions will be on Madhyapradesh's role in freedom movement.
in some states such as tamilnadu, questions on tamil literature are also asked in GS.
while UPSC asks current affaira at national level, for PCS exam you have to focus more on state level news.
Thus syllabus is same, but the way you have to prepare is different.
