IAS and PCS are different different things.
IAS exam is for the all India services.
If you are selected in the PSC then there is no effect on the IAS exam for that.
If you want to get promotion in the IAS exam then you must have to clear the IAS exam for that.
And for IAS exam you must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and your age must lies in between 21-30 years and you must be Indian.
After selecting in the IAS you can get promotion.
