    How to proceed further if I want to serve India through UPSC or Defence? My Date of Birth is is 31-07-1984, completed B.Tech in Fire and Safety and I come under general category. Which exams can I give this year? What are the age limits for same?

    Dear Sir/Mam,
    Greetings.
    I want to serve India through UPSC or Defense. I am B.Tech Fire Tech. & Safety and my DOB is 31.07.1984.I come under GENERAL category.
    Kindly guide how to proceed further. Which Exams I can give this year, whats the age limit for the same.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you can apply for the upsc exam

    As for the post like Ias And Ips but you have to give the cse exam

    And for the exam you need following Qualifications:

    The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

    And the age of the general candidate should be 21-30

    And for the obc candidate it should be 21-33

    And for the sc/st it should be 21-35

    And for the ph the age should be 21-40

    And as your age is now around 28 so you can apply for the exam

    Also you are not eligible for defence exam as you have crossed your age

    As the age for the defence exam is 19-23

    But can apply for the upsc exam

    dear friend,

    minimum qualification criteria for UPSC exams:
    you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.

    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    because you are not 30 years old and you can apply for different UPSC exams like IAS,IPS,CDS etc.

    you can fill UPSC application form online .

    Dear Rohitashwa Pandey,

    your age calculated to be 28 years as this years examination are closed for your application to be eligible.

    you are eligible to appear only in the FOLLOWING exmination.

    ->> civil services examination.
    ->> Indian forest services
    ->> Indian engineering services

    age limit:- 21-30 years for the GENERAL category aspirants.

    you have to wait for next notifications for the same
    as these all are conducted once/year.

    yes dear you are eligible for the upsc exams,
    according to your date of birth you are eligible for the upsc exams.

    the eligibility criteria for the upsc exams is:

    candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
    final year appearing candiadates can also apply for the upsc exam.
    age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
