Eligibility Criteria for UPSC NDA - National Defense Academy Exam 2013
Indian Military/Army : Candidate should have passed class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board
Indian Navy and Indian Air Force : Candidate should have passed class 12th with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the biology/chemistry/computer science from a recognized board
Age should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years age limit is not relaxable in any circumstances
Dear if you have not completed your 12th class and completed a diploma course then you are not eligible to apply for this exam but dear if you have completed your diploma course under any recognized board and passed that through the examination of state board then you can apply for this exam

Yes definitely final year diploma students are eligible for NDA & NA Exam. NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA. You just have to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria to appear for the Exam.
The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
The candidate should be of the age in between 16.5 to 19 years.The candidate should be unmarried.
The candidate should be Indian.
The Educational Qualification Required

Any diploma holder candidates can't apply for any exams which conducts by UPSC. NDA exam is the 12th based level if you have passed 12th from recognized board then apply for it otherwise you can't apply.

Because for giving this exam you should be a 12th class passed/appeared. If you are not among this, then I am sorry but you are not eligible for giving the exam.
