IFS(Indian Forest Services) is conducted one time by CIVIL Services in the every year.It has three wings they are Prelims and Mains and Interview.All graduates candidates are eligible for applying IAS exam.If you qualify in the prelims then you can go for mains.If you also qualify in the mains then you go for direct Interview.Prelims is a objective type exam and mains is a subjective type exam.It is a prestigious job in India.

IFS(Indian Forest Services) exam is conducted by UPSC in every

year.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must hold a Bachelor�s degree with at least one of

the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,

Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and

Zoology or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in

Engineering from recognized college or university.

AGE LIMIT:


General Category: 21 to 30 years

OBC Category: 21 to 33 years

SC/ST Category: 21 to 35 years

you must have attained the lower age limit on 1 August of the

year of exam and you should not have attained the upper age limit

on similar date.

Limit number Of Attempts:

• General Category: 4 attempts
• OBC Category: 7 attempts
• SC/ST Category: no limit
