Dear Friend
I really appreciate your decision to take IAS coaching along with the degree course because of the following reasons :
>>IAS stands for the Indian Administrative services .It comes under civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.Civil services examinations are very tough and considered as the third toughest examination in Asia.
So in these examinations competition is very tough means that there are large no of IAS aspirants in India and there are very few posts available under this services.Candidate who is perfect in all respect will only be selected for this services. You have to become all rounder so as to compete this examination.
All rounder here means that you should have knowledge in all the fields of this modern era then only you will be eligible to compete this toughest examinations.
Now coming to your decision to take coaching along with the degree .It is very necessary because this examination takes almost four years of intense labour with strong determination and regular revision.
Coaching centers will provide you the path along which you can rode towards your destiny. In fact coaching centers will provide you the shortest path. You have to labour hard along with the coaching centers.
You have to make the day and night the same so as to achieve the success.
Best of luck for your dream.

Yes you can go for coaching if you think you are not able to prepare properly on your own.
Coaching classes will make you study in a more disciplined manner and you will study regularly.
But in the end if you dont revise what is taught at coaching classes then you will not gain anything from coaching.
Go for a coaching class if there is any good coaching in your city. You can ask from the students studying in the coaching class about the quality of the coaching .
If there isnt any good coaching then it will be a waste of money to attend any coaching classes.
Many people have cleared IAS exams by preparing at home and doing correspondence coaching from coaching classes.
