    How should I prepare for an IAS exam being a B.Tech student? Suggest best coaching centre for the same with Fee details?

    hello sir,im doin my b.tech n gna enter into the final year..can u pls furnish me the details for joining n preparing for IAS..do suggest some coaching centres..

    the course for the particular exam is very vast
    one should start his preparations for the very strting of their graduation period.
    it does not matter which subject u are graduating.
    the eligibility criteria for applying is u must be a grad and minimum age required is 21 years.
    the subjects for selection are:
    general studies
    essay
    english qualification
    indian language
    geography
    history
    political science
    public administeration
    economics
    commerce
    electrical engg
    psychology
    law
    management
    sociology
    physics
    anthropology
    statistics
    zoology
    mechanical engg

    EXAM PATTERN FOR IAS EXAM:-

    The IAS exam consists of 3 phases.

    1)Preliminary exam
    2)Main exam
    3)Interview

    Preliminary exam is divided in to 2 papers.
    Each paper duration is 120 minutes.

    Main exam is divided in to 9 papers.
    Each paper duration is 180 minutes.

    Final Phase is Interview phase.
    Candidates who have qualified in both the two above phases can apply for Interview.
