To become an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police), you have to complete CSAT examination and choose IPS. Therefore you must pass the Bachelors degree at any recognized university in any stream. The age limit is 21-30years and the upper age limit is 05years for SC/ST and 03years for OBC. Thanks......

to apply for civil services you should have completed your graduation in any stream from a recognized institute under ugc and your age must lie between 21-30 years if you are a general category aspirant.
the upper age limit is exceeded by 3 and 5 years for obc and sc/st candidates respectively.
there is no direct recruitment for ACP . It comes by promotion only
1) If you clear civil services exam and become IPS, you will get posted as ASP
2) If you clear group 1 exam by state public service commission, you can become DSP
from the level of ASP and DSP , you ca get promotion to ACP, based on your performance

dear, if you want to become an ACP then you will have to join IPS exam through UPSC. After step by step you can become an ACP. So that according to below criteria you can join IPS exam:-
Eligibility Criteria:-
1. Should be graduate from recognized university.
2. Age should be for General :- 21-30 yrs.
OBC :- 21-33 yrs.
SC/ST :- 21-35 yrs.
3. Should be citizen of India.
4. Male or Female both can apply.

the posts of ACP(Assistant Commissioner of Police) is filled by IPS officers. IPS officers get ACP rank through promotion. to become an IPS officer you have to write Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.
to appear in Civil Services exam you have to complete graduation
in any discipline from recognized college or university with any percentage.
Civil Services exam constitutes three parts:
1. CSAT
2. Mains
3. Interview
for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:
>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

hi if you want to become ACP than you have to crack civil service exam csat exam, than you have to opt IPS. After getting selection in civil service exam you can go for ACP.
