To join CBI(Central Bureau Of Investigation) you have to clear CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam ) which is conducted by UPSC SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduation with minimum 55%
2. your age must be 20 years to 25 years.

If you are interested in cbi or ib then you must be pass 12th class with 60%

And age relaxation also applicable for reserved candidates

like bc's and sc's the relaxation was extended up to 3 and 5 years respectively

The notification for IB is released recently

Once visit its official website

Hi Aspirant,

For the job in CBI, Intelligence bureau and Raw you will have to apply for SSC exam.


UPSC doesn�t conduct exam for such post.

You can be SI in CBI, Intelligence bureau and NCB etc.


Required Qualification

You must be graduate in any stream from UGC valid University.

Your age should be 20 to 27 years.

Age relaxation as per government norms

Sc/ST + 5 years and OBC + 3 years.

You must be Indian.
