by appearing and clearing the Combined Medical Services Exams (CMS).

-Junior Scale Posts in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service

Eligibility :
Age Limits :
General category - Below 32yrs on 1st Jan of the year of exams
OBC - relaxation by +3yrs of the upper age limit
SC/ST - relaxation by +5yrs of the upper age limit
Educational Qualification :
A pass in the written & practicals parts of the final year of MBBS Exam.
Final Year appearing students can apply on provision.
Candidates who have not finished the compulsory rotating internship are eligible to apply

For becoming a government medical officer ,You have to clear the Combined medical services which is organised by UPSC every year.
The basic requirement for the CMS exam is as follows:
>>You must have completed the MBBS .
>>Final year MBBS candidates are allowed to apply for the exam.
>>You age must not exceed the limit of 32 years on the 1st january of year of examination.
>>You must be an Indian citizen.
Tentative dates for CMS 2012:
Date of notification:24/03/2012
Date of last receipt of application:23/04/2012
Date of examination:17/06/2012.
