    You can become a Government Medical Officer through UPSC

    by appearing and clearing the
    Combined Medical Services Exams (CMS).

    Services/Posts
    to which recruitment is made through this exam are :

    -Assistant Divisional Medical Officers in the Railways
    -Junior Scale Posts in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
    -Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services
    -Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi
    -General Duty Medical Officers in NDMC.

    Eligibility :

    Age Limits :
    General category - Below 32yrs on 1st Jan of the year of exams

    OBC - relaxation by +3yrs of the upper age limit

    SC/ST - relaxation by +5yrs of the upper age limit

    Educational Qualification :

    A pass in the written & practicals parts of the
    final year of MBBS Exam.

    Final Year appearing students can apply on provision.

    Candidates who have not finished the compulsory rotating internship are eligible to apply

    but on selection will be appointed only after successful completion of the internship.

    Dear Friend

    For becoming a government medical officer ,You have to clear the Combined medical services which is organised by UPSC every year.

    The basic requirement for the CMS exam is as follows:

    >>You must have completed the MBBS .

    >>Final year MBBS candidates are allowed to apply for the exam.

    >>You age must not exceed the limit of 32 years on the 1st january of year of examination.

    >>You must be an Indian citizen.


    Tentative dates for CMS 2012:

    Date of notification:24/03/2012

    Date of last receipt of application:23/04/2012

    Date of examination:17/06/2012.

    So,dear you can apply for this exam in next year 2013.

    Dear, if you want to be an Medical Officer through UPSC you must be an MBBS at first and then you have to compete UPSC's Combine Medical Exam. through which you can fulfill your dream.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you can become a medical officer

    Through upsc department no doubt

    But you must be filling the eligibility criteria for the exam

    upsc is conducting the common medical services exam

    For the medical students and the exam is

    conducting by the department every year

    Eligibility Required for the CMS Exam:

    ## The Aspirant should be a graduate from a recognized university

    ## The Aspirant must be pass in MBBS Degree

    ## The Final year aspirants are also eligible for the exam

    ## The Age of the candidate should not be more than 32


    Nationality :

    Indian
