the central police forces have codes which shows the candidate's qualification , category of cast, and the centre code for where he/ she want to appear for the written test.



the code for educational qualification of cpf is given below

if the candidate have already passed the graduation degree or equivalent exam then the code is = 01

if the candidate is in final year appearing or waiting for the result then the code is = 02



a candidate can also know about the codes from the advertisement or notification which is issued by the cpf for at the time of recruitment.

Eligibility required for CPF are:

1. Age Limit:
- Applicants should be between the age of 20 years and 25 years
- ST/SC applicants will have 5 years of upper age limit.
- OBC applicants can avail maximum 3 years of upper age limit
- Maximum 5 years for Civilian Central Government Servants

2. Educational background
- Applicants should have completed their bachelor�s degree from any recognized university
- Final year students are also eligible
- Applicants with professional and technical qualification from a recognized university are also eligible.

3. Restriction on reappearance of candidates finally selected / recommended earlier
- Once a candidate has been finally selected on the basis of the examination is not eligible for subsequent examination for recruitment
- At the time of personality test and interview possession of NCC �B� or �C� certificates will put certain consideration.

4. Physical Standards
- Applicants must fulfill both medical and physical standards.

pattern of written exams
part 1
gk, reasoning, numerical ability 200 marks


part 2 =100 marks
essay writing, comprehension of given passage, and precise writing.
After written test their is a physical efficiency test and interview is conducted.


Pattern of Written Exam:
1. Paper-I: General Ability and Intelligence of 250 marks of 2 hours.
2. Essay, Precis and Comprehension writing of 150 marks of two hours.
Paper-I consists of objective type question .
Paper-II consists of essay and precis writing
paper-II is only checked if you got the minimum qualification marks for paper-I.

UPSC conducts CAPF Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Recruitment Examination.

Eligibility Criteria of CPAF Exam,:

If you are applying in the UPSC (CAPF/CPF) Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) AC Examination must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
The age limit for the UPSC Assistant Commandant AC Examination is as follows.

Minimum 20 years of age, and maximum 25 years of age on 1 August 2012
Relaxation:
Upto 5 years for SC/ST
Upto 3 years for OBC
Upto 5 years for civilian central government servants
