Pune is not a center decided by UPSC for examination, according to 2012-2013 batch. You have to go to mumbai for exam. you have to select your center "Mumbai" while filling the application form. I advice you to fill the form earliest so UPSC can opt Mumbai only for you.
It is possible to crack exam without coaching class also but you should be confident enough to appear in exam. coaching is not compulsory.
For writing the IAS exam in pune, you should be aware while filling the exam form, in the section of the test centres you need to tick on pune, and if there will be enough seats available in oune, then you can give the exam in pune only. And yes it is very much possible that even without coaching you can crack the IAS EXAM. There are many examples of people who actually did it without coaching. You just need to be completely dedicated towards your goal and success will be yours
