Sorry dear, if you are don't physically fit then don't apply for IAS exam..Bcoz your cancer can create many types of problems if you apply for this. So,firstly be make your good health n totally free from your cancer then apply for IAS exams.

Dear aspirant it's really wonderful moment for me that you are a cancer survivor and wants to become an IAS officer in India means i have never seen or listen about anybody like that he/she is a cancer survivor which is the most deadly disease in the human body but dear it good to see that you are fit and active now and if you want to apply for IAS exam then you should have following eligibility criteria :
A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and if you are pursuing final year of your graduation then also you can appear for IAS preliminary exam
Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates
If you have decided IAS as your aim then you must go for any top reputed coaching institute in your near district or city so that you could be prepared well for your exams and qualify the prelims and mains at once but dear IAS exam demands hard study and smart study and you would have to give at least 15 hours everyday for your study then you may become an IAS officer

Last date for online application - 04-03-2013

it is good to see that you are recovered from cancer and now fully fit. As you said you are now fully fit, so you can apply for Civil Services exam that is conducted for the post of IAS(Indian Administrative Service).
Civil Services exam constitutes three parts:
1. CSAT
2. Mains
3. Interview
for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:
>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Limit Number Of Attempts:
>>General: 4 attempts
>>OBC: 7 attempts
>>SC/ST: No Limit

1st---friend I am not sure about that because you can apply for the Civil Service exam.
2nd---This exam process will run 1.5 years almost.
3th---you can improve your condition to clear the medical test.
4th---you will be physically unfit you can be declared disqualify in medical exam.
