    dear friend,

in UPSC exams Success and failure depends upon the optional subjects. So you must take care while choosing optional subjects. You can choose any two optional subjects and it does not matter whether you have read the subject before it or not.
Selection is fully made on the basis of your knowledge and your Interest in the subject.

    Dear Friend

You can choose two optional subjects for the mains exams.. it depends on your comfort and strength to choose the optional subjects..

Always choose those subjects in which you have a good command..

For Eg. If you are a arts student then you can go for the history and public administration..

So this way choose your subjects that you have studied in your graduation..

it will be like revising only..

    BEST OF LUCK..!!!
