IAS is a civil serviceand also one of the most prestigious Indian Civil Services. To become an IAS officer you have to clear a most competitive exam calledCivil Service Exam.

its syllabus is wast so, you have to work hard to get selected.
for this you should join a coaching institute if you can but it is not necessary.
but by joining a coaching institute you will get a guideline of preparation and also some helpful tricks.
as there are many subjects are there for this paper.
so you have to many books which you can buy by taking help of some one who is preparing for it.
