    Hello friend,

I have a suggestion to you.Firstly you have to set a goal for

yourself.you should have the complete knowledge for the

designation you wants to go.Most of the BCA candidates wants

to go for IPS exam and I personally also wants you to go for IPS

as in this exam you have to read only eight subjects which is not

    tough enough.the subjects like

    1.Mental ability

    2 Political science.

    3.Science

    4.Current Affairs

    5.Geography

    6.
    history

    7.
    General knowledge etc.

    books for cracking this examination:-

    1. R.S Aggarwall

    2.General studies(Solved papes)

Now itself you can start reading newspaper, journals and articles available offline and online related to public affairs. Try to make an idea of what is happening around you. Make your own conclusions. Stay updated. Go to history of sensitive issues.

All the best for your studies and your goal.

UPSC exam needs a proper planning and thorough knowledge. You have to properly manage the time which is very important.
The minimum qualification required fir the competitive exam includes Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institute and the age limit should be between 21 to 30. The preparation for the exam requires a strategy and right study material. You have to do a focussed study apart from hard work. Always keep the syllabus with you and use guide books to guide through the exams I also recommend you to have at least 5 year previous papers of the exam and have a look at them. This will greatly help you in understanding the exam pattern and types of question to be asked. The recruitment for the candidate includes written test, physical efficiency and medical test conducted by UPSC.
The exam requires minimum 1 and a half or two years of full time preparation. Plan for the exam:
    1. Preliminary examination which is objective type for the selection of the candidate for mains exam.
    2. Main examination ehich includes written and interview.
    Exam preparation:
To preapare for the exam you have to get a thorough knowledge for that you have to read books. For this I recommend you to get the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th NCERT books and read them. Mainly it includes History, Geography, Politics, Science, Economics etc. If you are still doing graduation then you should start reading these books from 9th class onwards. You have to get knowledge and revise again and again.
Secondly, the current affairs matters. For that you have to read newspapers. Make a habit of reading newspaper daily and also you can make the notes of what is important. You can also refer magazines for the current affairs like India Today, The week etc.
For more information you can check the site
