Friend the job of both departments is good. Both are the different jobs.
Inspector in central excise and Clerk post in bank both are the central government post and you can set your bright future in this.
Personally I like the inspector post in central excise department and it is the good and reputed job.
But friend here you should select the job as per your desire and interest and where you satisfy yourself.
You should join the inspector post in central excise department through SSC exam. SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission.
For the excise inspector you will have to apply for Combined Graduation Level exam. This exam is organized by the SSC every year at all India level.
To apply for the CGL exam you must satisfy the eligibility criteria.
You should be graduate in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.
Your age should be between 18 to 27 years.
Age relaxation
SC/ST + 5 years
OBC + 3 years
Ph + 10 years
You must be the citizen of India.
If you satisfy the above criteria you can apply for the SSC CGL exam.
But if you want to be a clerk in bank, then you can apply for IBPS exam or fill the form of direct recruitment released by the various bank.
For the clerical post you must be minimum Intermediate qualified and your age should be between 21 to 30 years.
